On Fire!

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

In the past week, the hottest player in most roto leagues is, surprise, surprise: Milton Bradley.  Scoring a line of: 11 runs, 3 doubles, 5 HRs, 9 RBIs, 4 stolen bases and an unworldly .550 BA and .690 OBP he’ll be giving you production all across the board.

Coming close behind is Joe Crede with a line of: 9 runs, 2 doubles, 5 HRs, 12 RBIs and an impressive .524 BA and .600 OBP.  I was recently able to pick up Crede from the waiver wires in my league, so was quite happy about that.

Somebody who was really stinking it up earlier in the year, but has most recently picked it up is Johnny Damon of the New York Yankees.  After a slow start, he has been on a tear lately and doesn’t look like he’ll be slowing down.  His recent 6 hit night last Saturday has solidified his status of being … ON FIRE.

Welcome to Fantasy Baseball!

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Hi there!

If you are on this site, then like me you’re probably a fantasy baseball enthusiast.  Or perhaps you are just a fantasy sports addict?  Regardless of your love (whether it’s baseball, football, basketball or hockey), I would like to say … Congrats!  As any other enthusiast, we are all looking for additional resources, tools or hints to give us that additional slight edge when it comes to our office pool, family and friends pool, or just in the pulbic roto leagues.  So this blog will just be that, and hopefully the updates or tips that I give here will help you gain that extra edge you need to win your pool.  I’ll be happy to accept 10% of the winnings for doing my part. ;)

Have fun and good luck!
